Congratulations
The Eagle Elite winners for the end of tri2 were Darrell Noblin & Jazmyne Levine from the Integrity SLC, Garrison Simpson & Cristina Holder from the Diversity SLC, Josephine Anderson & Tenzin Toon from the Equality SLC, and Nia Moore & Jesse Yost from the Academic Innovation SLC. Please join us in congratulating these fabulous individuals, and remember..."Keep doing good" There will be two more Eagle Elite drawings for this school year. Maybe you will be one of the lucky ones receiving a beautiful new Skyline hoodie!
Course Requests
Students, remember to input course request for 2017-18 in the powerschool portal. The portal will close at 3:00pm tomorrow and signed and completed course selection worksheets with a printout of selected courses are due in Skytime tomorrow.
Film Fest
The Film Club is now accepting submissions to Skyline’s Fourth Annual Film Festival, which will take place on Friday, May 19th. Prizes for best films include $300 for first place, $200 for second, and $100 for third. You can submit your 3-5 minute short film at Skylinefilmfest.com. The submission deadline is May 1st. Reminder, Juniors, the College Fair is tomorrow from 6-8 PM at PIONEER High School. Mrs Haller will be there to assist you and answer any questions.

High School Democrats of America

The Peer Advice Initiative is back up and running! If you have questions about absolutely anything you can anonymously complete our form at skylinepeeradvice.com ! You can check back on the answers page of the website by the end of the week for your response.
Writing Mentors
The Skyline Writing Center is looking for current sophomores and juniors to join our family next year!

Yearbook
Seniors- The Yearbook Staff needs your adorable baby photos to assemble the Senior Video that will play at graduation. Please email both a baby photo and a current photo of your choosing to aaskylineyearbook17@gmail.com. Include your first and last name as the subject. These are due by Wednesday, April 12.
Attention Gamers, Makers, teachers and students.
The annual Gamer / Maker event sponsored by the iCommons and Ann Arbor District Library will be held Friday April 14th after school until 5:00 pm. Street Fighter, Mario Karts, Just Dance and more! Make fiber art with spinning and weaving, code some Spheros, use the Portrait Station or make stop-motion animation with stick bots. There will be pizza, prizes and lots of laughs. Come and compete with your teachers and friends. Mark your calendar for the Gamer/Maker event on April 14th in the iCommons.
Attention Juniors
Michigan Boys State & Girls State is an opportunity for high school students who have completed their junior year to be competitively selected to participate in a seven-day mock government program. Here they learn about civics and American government in a fast-paced, interactive program of campaigning, debating, voting, and electing mock local and state leaders. Girls State takes place at Michigan State University and Boys State takes place at Grand Valley State University June 18-24. Famous graduates of this program include: Tom Brokaw (TV news anchor), Bill Clinton, · Michael Jordan, Dale Kildee (U.S. Representative), and Mark L. Wahlberg (Actor).
