    Welcome to Lawton Elementary!

    Lawton Elementary is excited to be a part of The Leader in Me program, which focuses on the 7 Habits of Happy Kids. Our mission is "Learning for all, Leaders for Life!"

    The first day of school for students is Tuesday, September 6th.  Please note the new start and end time. School begins at 8:47 a.m. and ends at 3:50 p.m.

  • 81% of AAPS teachers hold a Master’s degree or above.
  • AAPS is proud of our diverse student body representing 85 countries and 64 different languages.
  • AAPS is a high performing district offering 25 Advanced Placement (AP) courses at our high schools.
  • In May 2014, 2,343 Advanced Placement (AP) exams were taken by AAPS students.
