Parents of students who are taking an online class during semester or trimester one can attend a parent orientation meeting at Huron High School on Sept. 15.  There are two sessions; one beginning at 6 pm and the other beginning at 7 pm.   There will also be a less formal meeting, parent coffee, at Balas (2555 S. State St.) on October 5 at 8:30 am to answer any questions or discuss the program.

Plagiarism Information:

Plagiarism is considered a serious offense in an online learning class.  Students are trusted to complete their work honestly and independently.  Students are usually given a zero on the associated assignment(s) on the first offense.  If the student commits plagiarism again s/he can be subject to receiving an "E" for the course as well as being banded from future online courses.  Further details on consequences and a short informational video can be found in the orientation presentation and questions can be submitted to Cynthia Leaman, Principal.

Remind:

Students (and parents)  are encouraged to sign-up for Remind.  Once you activate an account, you will be sent text reminders of weekly Moodle deadlines, proctoring exams, etc.
